Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
This is an Ammy Award-Winning Sesame Street Special.
It‘s Christmas Eve on Sesame Street and everyone is waiting for Santa Claus to come and bring presents. But Oscar doubts that Santa can even fit through the chimneys of all the houses and when Big Bird realizes that there’s no logical way that Santa can go through a slim chimney.
Oscar also claims that if there’s no way Santa can come into the houses and deliver presents, then nobody’s going to get presents on Christmas Eve. So there’s only one way to find out: Ask kids. Because if anyone knows more about Santa, then it’s the kids.
They ask the kids but that doesn’t really help Big Bird, Grover, Kermit and Patty to find out the truth about how Santa gets into the houses. Meanwhile, Ernie and Bert think of a present for each other but since they have no money, they have to trade in their favourite things to get the present that they want to give the other.
In "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street" there is Cookie Monster on the next scene. Cookie Monster thinks of things that he wants to get from Santa Claus. So he creates a wish list but he can’t really decide what he wants and every time he thinks of all the cookies that he could get, he eats the tools to write a letter.
Ernie and Bert got their presents but they’re kind of useless now. The cigarette box that Bert got was for his paperclips that he traded in and the soap dish for Ernie was to put in his rubber duckie.
But then, Mr Hooper came in to bring them some presents and those were Ernie’s duckie and Bert’s paperclips.
Big Bird got onto a roof to watch Santa Claus get into the chimney but he fell asleep and didn’t see it, which he was very upset about. Then he realizes that everyone got their presents and Santa Claus did get through all the chimneys. Christmas Eve on Sesame Street ends.
