CinderElmo
CinderElmo is a special episode of Sesame Street. This episode is aired on Fox TV on 6th December 1999. In this episode is Cinderella-like character that played from Elmo.
Synopsis
It’s 5 o’clock on Sesame Street. Someone is singing. Once Upon A Time, CinderElmo begins. CinderElmo lives with his Stepmother (Kathy Najimy), her sons (Telly and Baby Bear) and his friends Zoe, Prince the Dog and the mice. All family is sleeping, CinderElmo dreams that he dance with the princess at the ball. They are dancing over the clouds and the stars are shining. But at this moment someone calls CinderElmo and he wakes up. His Stepmother told him that she has an invitation to the Princess 18. Birthday Ball.
Stepmother will go to the Ball with her two sons and CinderElmo has to prepare their clothes, clean the home, paint the house and cook. First of all, he has to dust whatever standing around. Stepmother told her sons to practice for the ball, and she is watching the decoration works at the Palace for the Ball. She can see the King the Queen and the Princess. "Sesame Street CinderElmo" is getting more and more fun.
Princess told the King that she wants to invite everyone unmarried to her Ball. She is bored to invite every year to the same people. Palace officials sharing the invitations. All unmarried Jung men are very excited. Baker (Cookie Monster) sings a song and tell how many things he prepares for the Ball.
Stepmother watches the Palace and tries to find out what the Princess did. She thinks that the Princess is working out for a new dance. But actually, Princess has water on her ears. As they try to learn this secret dance CinderElmo learned it too. Just at the moment, Baker brings invitations for all Jung men. Stepmother says that CinderElmo can not go to the ball because he is too dirty and has nothing to wear.
All Sesame Street youngs are preparing for the Ball
"Sesame Street CinderElmo" continues where it left off. Stepmother goes with her sons and she locks the door. At this moment comes Fairy Godperson (Oliver Pratt) and wants to help CinderElmo. He told CinderElmo, that he has not only to dream but he has to do something to make his dreams come true. Fairy Godperson makes magic and CinderElmo became a Prince. He transforms also CinderElmo’s friends. He says they must leave the Ball at midnight.
Frog announces that Princess must choose a husband till midnight. Telly and Baby Bear show the new dance and Princess likes this. Stepmother hides CinderElmo with her cape but his friends find him. CinderElmo and Princes are dancing finally together. As he goes at midnight he lost his shoe. Palace officials searching all over the Sesame Street for the owner of these shoes. Princes invite CinderElmo to live in Palace.
