Guess what Elmo's thinking about today? Elmo opens his door. Here is full of
shelves of books. Suddenly, the shelves break in unison, dumping the books on
the floor.
Dorothy has a question. She wants to know how
to read a book.
Mr. Noodle tries to read a book but he holds
the book upside-down and he can‘t read anything. Finally, some kids and Elmo
tell him that he hast o turn the book upside-down. After correcting it, he sits
in his chair and he starts with reading.
Some kids are reading books. One oft he books
start with the line ‚‘‘Put Down the Duckie‘‘.
Elmo has a question. He wants to know how many
books fill up the bookshelf and he counts them to find out.
Elmo talks about who reads books and who
doesn’t do that. Pineapples, cats, Birthday cakes, and Beds don’t read books.
You can read a book, Count can read a book in his bed too.
Michael is one of Elmo’s friends. He goes to
the library with his dad. He wants to get a book on dinosaurs.
The Book Channel has a new program about a
girl who loves books. Then follows ‚‘‘Our Miss Books‘‘ starring Book Shields.
There are two books in the room. One of them
is a picture book and the other book is about the circus and it’s speaking in a
ringmaster's voice. Elmo talks with these two books.
Dorothy imagines Elmo as a tightrope walker.
The reason for the hat is the circus book. She has also other books with
different themes, so she imagines Elmo as a cowboy, and as a brave knight
challenging Mr. Dragon.
Elmo has a home video made about Dorothy’s
favorite book, Moby Dick by Herman Melville. He presents his video.
Elmo sings "The Book Song" and at this moment, a chicken comes by and starts clucking along with him. Elmo's World Books ends with the books song.
