Sesame Street Elmo's World Fast and Slow
Guess what Elmo is
thinking about today?
Elmo’s
drawer zooms by very fast on which Elmo responds that it is the fastest drawer
in the west, but then, it zooms by very slowly on which Elmo responds that it
is the slowest drawer in the east! Then, the two characters from the famous
fable “The Tortoise and the Hare” appear on Elmo’s doorstep to show the
difference between fast and slow.
Dorothy’s Question
Elmo
proceeds to go to Dorothy, who asks how to dance fast.
The Noodle Family
Mr. Noodle
is wearing a hat, with which he can dance fast and slow. He is dancing slowly
at first, but then, he is dancing very fast!
Kids and Baby
We see
different kids who show Dorothy how they dance fast and Elmo even asks a Baby
how it dances fast and its mother is helping it to dance.
Elmo’s question
Elmo asks
us how many race horses we can count. He
is counting fourteen fast horses and one slow snail, which is then put on the
race horses’ back to be fast too.
Quiz
Elmo
explains, that worms can only go very slow, except Slimey, who is driving his
sports car very fast.
Video E-Mail
Ingrid and
Humphry send Elmo a video of her baby Natasha who can crawl very fast. She
starts out by crawling very slow, of course, Ingrid and Humphry think Natasha
is not going to crawl very fast, but as Natasha goes on, she gets faster and
faster. Each time she turns around and crawls the other way, she gets faster.
Film
Dayanna,
Elmo’s friend, tells Elmo about her big sister giving her her old Rollerskates
so Dayanna can learn how to rollerskate. She tells us, that at first, she was
going a bit slow and even fell down. But then, she stood up and continued
skating and after a while, she was almost as fast as her sister.
TV Cartoon
Elmo wants
the TV to turn on the Fast and Slow channel so he can watch the show. It’s
about the kingdoms of fast and slow.
Interview
The
Tortoise and the Hare appear on Elmo’s doorstep again and they want to tell
their story. First, the Tortoise begins to tell the story very slow, and then,
the Hare told the story very fast.
Tickle Me Land
But then,
Tickle Me Land finishes the tale with Elmo being the Tortoise and the Hare.
Elmo Hare went so fast, that he begins to sleep. While Elmo Hare was sleeping,
Elmo Tortoise began to start going to the finish line and he got there first!
The Moral of the Story is, that slow and steady wins, but then, Elmo Hare insists,
that the Moral should be You snooze, you lose. Sesame Street Elmo’s World Fast
