Elmo is
showing us what he is thinking about today by jumping up and down. After a few
times jumping, he gets stuck in the ceiling, but falls down again followed by
him saying “what goes up must come down!
Dorothy’s Question
Dorothy is
asking, how a person can go up and down on a see-saw.
Kids and Baby
Then two
kids show Dorothy, how you go up and down on a see-saw.
The Noodle Family
Mr. Noodle
helps Elmo scratch his back because it’s itching and then shows us how to go up
and down on a seesaw. He tries to do it without a partner, then he picks up an
ant and lays it down on the other side of the see-saw, but ends up tossing it
away as soon as he is sitting down on the other end. Then Snuffy helps him but
also just ends up tossing Mr. Noodle away.
Elmo’s question
Elmo wants
to count how many times a hippo can jump up and down on a pogo stick. The hippo
ends up landing on Elmo after jumping a few times.
Quiz
Elmo calls
his drawer but the drawer ends up jumping too high up. Then Elmo tells it to
come back down, but it comes down too much. Then Elmo tells it to come up and
the drawer does so and pushes Elmo out of the way. The Elephant appears in this
quiz and sings a tiny bit of “The Elephant Elevator Operator”.

Elmo gets a
Mail from Super Grover, who wants to show Elmo, that he can fly up and down
again up he can’t really fly upward so he ends up falling down.
Film
Elmo’s
friend Diasia goes to the playground with her mum and dad and climbs up the
stairs of a slide, and slide down the slide.
She also goes up and down on a swing and on some Monkey bars. She also
plays with her toy plane which also goes up and down and her father even puts
her upside down! That’s like up and down at the same time.
TV Cartoon
Elmo tunes
in on the up and down channel. There, the Up and Down Lady goes up and down
some stairs and she also dances the Up and Down dance with two chickens.
Interview
Elmo talks
to a Yo-Yo about up and down. The Yo-Yo also shows Elmo how it can go up and
down.

Dorothy is
imagining Elmo on a rollercoaster, which goes very high up and down again.
The Up and Down song
Elmo and
the Yo-Yo are singing the Up and Down song together and then Sesame Street Elmo’s
World Up and Down ends.
