SCENES: Chris welcomes us and tells the viewers that it is spring on Sesame Street and shows us, that the tree in the arbor is covered in leaf buds. He also tells us, that it’s cool enough to eat outdoors as Mr. Johnson orders some hot soup. 

Elmo shows Chris a sled that he found in his closet and tells him that he wants to go sledding but Chris points out that during spring, there’s no snow so you can’t go sledding. Elmo is a little upset that winter is over and wishes to himself it was winter. Abby Cadabby hears what Elmo wishes and tries to change the season to winter.

But instead, she changes the season to summer, meaning that it is hot instead of cold and Chris notices that the tree in the arbor is now in full bloom. Mr. Johnson now orders cool gazpacho instead of hot soup. It’s even too hot for Telly and Baby Bear to play tag so they play checkers. Abby tries her spell once again and changes the season to…

Autumn! Leaves are blown at Chris as he takes the bowl outside and sees that the colors of the leaves have changed. Mr. Johnson’s gazpacho is blown onto his lap because the wind is very strong so he orders some hot soup again. Even Telly and Baby Bear’s checkerboard get blown away so instead, they play football. Abby now gives her spell one last try and it’s finally…

Winter! When Chris comes outside, he is shocked by what he sees. Now he realizes, that Abby is behind all of this and he tells her, that her actions have serious consequences and that the seasons should come in order. So Abby changes the season back to winter and Mr. Johnson now orders a larger meal instead of a soup. Chris has an idea of how Elmo can use his sled in spring.

Chris has added some wheels to Elmo’s sled and he pulls him down the street.

Muppets: Murray announces that Abby’s Flying Fairy School is coming up, but first, he and the kids rap about the letter U.

Muppets: Murray announces that it is almost time for him and his little lamb to go to school but first, it’s time for the number 4. He counts 4 of things.

Celebrity: Feist performs a spoof of her song “1234” and various Muppets help her to count.

Muppets: Murray and the kids introduce “Murray Has a Little Lamb”.

Muppets: Murray and his lamb Overjita visit an ice skating school.

Muppets: Murray announces that Elmo’s World is coming up but first, he and the viewers play “Sounds of the Street.”

Muppets: Abby, Zoe and Rosita sing “Guess the Season”

Animation: A Mother and a daughter go through a park and after coming home, the daughter draws the things that she saw there.

Muppets: Murray and Avery introduce “Elmo’s World”
