Jason Bateman visits Sesame Street.

What’s the word on the street? : Comfort

SCENES: Chris welcomes the viewers and Elmo, Abby, Leela, and some chicken arrive, having won a tee-ball game. Chris says that they should celebrate with some lemonade but suddenly, a thunder goes off in the sky and Chris brings everyone into Hoopers.

Now that they are all inside, they hear more thunder and lightning go off outside and all the chicken is freaking out and Elmo and Abby try their best to calm them down but they are still freaking out.

So Leela decides that it’s time to comfort the chickens. She hugs them and tells them that there’s nothing to be afraid of. When another thunder goes off, one chicken isn’t afraid anymore.

Celebrity: Jason wants to comfort someone to help understand the meaning of the word but no passing animals need his help. Elmo finds Jason, who is sad and comforts him himself.

Cartoon: Kids talk about what they’re afraid of and what helps them to get over their fear.

Muppets: Murray announces that Abby’s Flying Fairy School is coming up, but first, he and the kids play “What’s on me that starts with a C?”

Cartoon: A troop of ants looks for C words at a Picnic.

Muppets: Murray and the kids announce Abby’s Flying Fairy School.

Animation: Abby can’t fall asleep so when Mrs. Sparklenose tells her to count sheep, she brings real sheep into the room and they get more and more. Students try to bring out the sheep and they succeed and Abby finally falls asleep.

Muppets: Murray announces Bert and Ernie’s Great Adventures is coming up, but first, he counts 9 of things.

Animation: Salty and Pierre ride on a train hoping it will take them to number 9.

Muppets: Murray and the kids introduce Bert and Ernie’s Great Adventures.

Animation: Ernie and Bert try to find the Loch Ness Monster and actually find it. They talk with her and Nessie says that she is actually very shy and wants to be left alone. He wanted to take a picture of her but instead gives her one of him.

Muppets: Before Elmo’s World starts Murray gives a demonstration of over and under.

Muppets: Oscar introduces GrouchBO hit series, True Mud.

Muppets: Murray and Navin introduce Elmo’s World

Muppets: Murray announces the sponsor and signs off. Sesame Street Episode 4215 ends with this scene.
