What’s the Word on the Street?: Pasta

SCENES: Elmo is sleeping over at Maria and Luis’ apartment. Elmo tries to sleep, but he can’t because he hears a noise. He calls them in, but there is no noise anymore as soon as they start listening. When they leave, Elmo hears the noise again and Maria points out, that Mrs. Mazzarino’s cat on the fire escape. They start to run all over the room to find the source of the noise.

Elmo hears the noise is coming from the couch so he lifts a pillow and finds a bouncy bug underneath. Luis starts researching on his laptop and finds out that the bug is a grasshopper. Maria tries to catch it when Big Bird comes in to tell them goodnight and he sees the bug. Luis researches again and finds out, that birds eat bugs like grasshoppers. But Big Bird states that he doesn’t.

The grasshopper is now under the couch and Super Grover comes in, trying to catch the grasshopper with his “grasshopper call” and his “horsefly call” but ends up calling a cow and a horse.

Luis and Maria both don’t know how to lure the bug out, but Elmo does. He disappears and reappears in a costume, singing “Hop This Way” with Rev Run. The grasshopper follows them out of the building.

They put the grasshopper back in the garden into the dirt to sleep. Elmo gets carried back to the apartment to also sleep.

Celebrity: Kara DioGuardi and Chef Elmo show the different kinds of pasta.

Muppets: Murray is announcing that Abby’s Flying School is coming up, but first, it’s time for the letter H. He and some friends from New York play “Bring out your H “. They show him different things that begin with the letter H.

Film: Two kids try to find H words in their clubhouse.

Muppets: Murray and Navin introduce Abby’s Flying Fairy School.

Animation: Blogg creates a giant macaroni dinosaur and it chases them around the class, wrecking everything in its way. They try everything the can stop it, but nothing works. They create a giant meatball and it actually stops the dinosaur.

Muppets: Murray announces it’s time for “Super Grover 2.0”, but first, he counts 13 of things.

Insert: The Count counts thirteen swings in the tire.

Muppets: Murray and Nika introduce “Super Grover 2.0”.

Muppets: A cactus plays with its ball but suddenly, it pops because the cactus made a hole into it. Super Grover tries to find a new ball for the cactus but doesn’t succeed. He gets out a sandwich which is wrapped in aluminum foil and the cactus thinks that it is the perfect ball for him. Now the cactus doesn’t have to worry about breaking his ball.

Muppets: Murray announces “Elmo’s World” is coming up and gives a demonstration of upside-down and right-side up.
