Sesame Street Episode 4224
There's An App For That
Season 41
Ty Burrell and Will.i.am visit Sesame Street
In Episode 4224 of Sesame Street, the street scenes revolve around Telly's adventures with a new pogo stick called the iPogo.
The story begins with Chris taking Baby Bear's order for porridge at Hooper's Store. Telly suddenly crashes nearby while attempting to perform the "Boingarooni," a challenging pogo stick trick. They then witness a man named Mack flawlessly executing the Boingarooni. Mack introduces himself and promotes the latest pogo stick gadget, the iPogo. Telly becomes fascinated by the iPogo and trades his old pogo stick for it. Mack then leaves for his Pogo-Yoga class.
Telly tries out the iPogo but struggles to make it boing. Baby Bear consults the instruction manual and discovers that Telly needs to press the hexagon icon to start bouncing. Telly follows the instructions, but Baby Bear realizes he read the wrong app, causing Telly to fall over. Baby Bear then instructs Telly to click the triangle icon to start bouncing. Telly does so, but ends up activating the Milkshake app instead. Finally, Baby Bear tells Telly to double-click the triangle icon, which makes the iPogo start bouncing.
However, Telly soon starts bouncing out of control, causing chaos in Hooper's Store and nearly colliding with Chris and Big Bird. After slowing down the iPogo, Telly tries to perform the Boingarooni but finds that the iPogo won't do it. Baby Bear points out that to perform the trick, Telly must activate the Boingarooni app using the rectangle icon. The iPogo performs the Boingarooni, impressing Baby Bear and Chris. Telly, however, feels disappointed because the iPogo did the trick for him and wishes he had his old pogo stick back.
Mack overhears Telly's wish and tries to upgrade his iPogo to the newer model, the iPogo 300. Telly insists on getting his old pogo stick back, and Mack agrees. Mack then leaves to learn about the even newer iPogo 3000. Telly practices the Boingarooni with his old pogo stick and successfully performs the trick. Everyone cheers for Telly as he happily bounces away on his old pogo stick, while Baby Bear and Chris dispose of the iPogo manual.
