The impact knocks him over and he shatters. They cannot repair him, and decide to bring him to Dr. Feldman. Humpty says he will come back when he is fixed.
Telly gives Humpty a cushion that will protect him better. Humpty returns and goes on playing. The cushion idea works, it prevents the ball from knocking him down, but unfortunately he falls over and is cracked again when he is charging toward the opposing team, he go to Dr. Feldman.
They need something bouncier for Humpty, because Telly's cushion idea does not work as they expect. Telly sees the sponge in Chris' pocket and observes the bouncy material. Telly covers Humpty with sponge. They begin the game again, Sponge works, but he is smashed when the team tackles him. Humpty sent back to Dr. Feldman and Telly gets worried again.
Chris explains to Telly eggs are fragile and they go to Hooper’s. Chris shows Telly real eggs can break very easily and also explains they use carton to protect eggs. Now Telly has a new idea, he thinks using carton can be good idea this time. Telly makes armor for Humpty using with egg cartons. Finally Telly's idea works and Humpty can score a touchdown.
