Elmo the Musical is a Sesame Street segment which was first appeared in the 43rd season. The segment continued in every episode until Season 46, where it alternated with "Elmo's World."
The duration of the videos is 11 minutes and in every video, Elmo has a great imagine world and Elmo imagines himself in different musical situations , such as "Sea Captain the Musical," "Mountain Climber the Musical" and "President the Musical." Elmo is not alone in his adventures, we see his friend Velvet, a series of animal and Muppet friends.
Sesame Street Elmo the Musical's theme song was composed by Adam Schlesinger, while the legal registration ascribes lyrics to six of the Elmo the Musical staff writers: Molly Boylan, Annie Evans, Belinda Ward, Joey Mazzarino, Luis Santeiro, and Christine Ferraro.

From autumn of 2015, new episodes that premiering in season 46 Sesame Street Elmo the Musical part occurs seven minutes.
SEASON 43:

Guacamole the Musical
Elmo dreams himself as Chef Explorer. Chef Explorer Elmo goes to Nacho Picchu where he meets the Queen. The Queen wants a big dip for her big tortilla chip and Elmo is here to deliver. The Queen of Nacho Picchu tastes her giant tortilla and finds how well chip goes with Chef Explorer Elmo's guacamole, she decides to do a celebration. The Queen, Elmo and lackeys sing songs and they dance.

Athlete the Musical
Elmo imagines himself as an athlete. He faces off against an Enormous Athlete to win a pair of golden shoes that is a coveted prize Elmo wants to win. At the end of the play Enormous Athlete wins, Velvet thinks it is a bad thing, but Elmo does not think like him, he does not care losing, Elmo has fun when playing the game.

Sea Captain the Musical
Elmo imagines himself as a captain in this segment and also chickens are his crew. Elmo and his crew try to find the elusive whale, Moby Pink.

Pizza the Musical
Today, Elmo dreams himself as a Space Pizza Delivery Monster, he delivers the number 10 special to Mars. He loses each slice when meet different situations, and finally arrives Mars, there is no pizza, he has only empty pizza box, and apologizes to Martians for this. They do not mind.

Airplane the Musical
The name of the part is Airplane the Musical. Elmo imagines himself as an airplane pilot. A penguin hires Elmo as a pilot. Elmo fly penguin bride-to-be to the South Pole for her wedding at 11 o'clock.

Circus the Musical
The name of this section is Circus the Musical. Elmo has a great Dream World, and he dreams himself as various characters each episode. In this episode Elmo plays a "monster with a dream" of joining the circus.
He ringmaster says Elmo that he needs an act before he can join that Elmo does not have yet. The first act, The Great In-Between cannot continue and Elmo goes on his place. We see Elmo's and The Chicken's funny adventures in this part.

President the Musical
He dreams himself President of the United States, living in the Red House. Elmo become the first monster to command the White House. He faces a problem and tries solve a problem. The problems are about all the firsts such as the First Lady, the First President photo, etc. are going missing!

Cowboy the Musical
Elmo dreams himself as a cowboy in the West. His nickname is Count-By-Two Kid. Elmo has amazing adventures when he is the cowboy.

Prince Elmo the Musical
Elmo imagines himself as a prince. Prince Elmo and his mice assistants travel to conquer. In the land there is a dragon with stinky breath and people, who live in there, are afraid of the dragon.

Detective the Musical
In this episode Elmo dreams himself as a detective, he has a great dream world and we see him in various characters. Detective Elmo searches for a cube that causing people to sneeze.

SEASON 44:
Bird the Musical, Repair Monster the Musical and Monster Climber the Musical are the names of the segments in Sesame Street Elmo the Musical in Season 44.
Bird the Musical
Elmo imagines himself as a bird. As a bird Elmo, he follows egg of Mama Bird to bring it back.

Repair Monster the Musical
Elmo and Velvet appear. Elmo imagines himself as a Repair Monster who can repair everything. The Great Halfini accidentally breaks the things in half when using magic, and as Repair Monster Elmo, he must repair it.

Mountain Climber the Musical
Elmo has a great Dream World, and he dreams himself as various characters each episode. In this episode Elmo dreams himself as a mountain climber and Elmo’s plans on climbing Mount Biggest Everest, which is the biggest mountain in the world.

Elmo dreams himself as a karate master. Elmo meets The Ooze that is a gelatinous antagonist. Elmo must use his karate chopping abilities to stop The Ooze because The Ooze destroys all the shapes in the town.

Tomato the Musical
Elmo imagines himself as a farmer in this segment. Farmer Elmo is going to join county fair to win prize. In order to win, he helps his tomato. If the tomato become the biggest, Elmo will have a chance to win the prize.

Iguana the Musical
Iguana Elmo decides to help another iguana, because he wants to make them happy. Elmo finds her grandmother's house in order to celebrate the birthday. Beach the Musical
Elmo dreams himself on Happy Crab Beach. Everyone is happy at the beach, only a little shrimp is not happy. She feels sad because of being too small to do anything. A tidal wave washes crown of the king into some rocks, it is impossible to reach there, but only the shrimp can reach there thanks to its size. This event makes her feel proud.
