In Episode 4510 of Sesame Street, the street scenes focus on Elmo's quest to win a new bike horn by participating in a game show called "Calm Down and Think," hosted by Guy Smiley. Elmo must answer three questions correctly, but he needs to stay calm and think clearly to succeed.

At the beginning of the episode, Elmo admires a shiny new horn on his friend's bike and wishes he had one too. Suddenly, game show music and lights appear, and Guy Smiley introduces Elmo as the contestant on "Calm Down and Think." Elmo's grand prize will be a new bike horn, but he has 60 seconds to find someone to coach him on staying calm. He spots the Two-Headed Monster and Cookie Monster, but neither of them are very calm. Elmo then sees Alan doing yoga and chooses him as his coach.

In the first round, Elmo must determine whether there are more cats or dogs when it literally rains cats and dogs. Alan helps Elmo calm down by hugging himself. Once calm, Elmo counts the animals and correctly answers that there are more cats than dogs.

In the next round, Elmo must identify the letters on the sweaters of twins Mike and Ike. Alan teaches Elmo to calm down by breathing and using his "focus binoculars" to see which letter is which. Elmo gets the answer right again.

Before the final round, Alan receives a call about an issue at Hooper's Store and must leave Elmo on his own. In the last round, Elmo has to figure out the next animal in a cat-dog pattern. Although he initially believes he can't calm down without a coach, Elmo remembers the calming strategies Alan taught him and applies them. He successfully calms down, figures out the pattern, and wins the bike horn.

At the end of the episode, Alan is proud of Elmo, but gets startled by Guy's announcements. Elmo then helps Alan calm down using the same strategies he learned. The street scenes in this episode emphasize the importance of staying calm and thinking clearly to solve problems.
