The Fluffster Kerfuffle
Alan greets the viewer on a beautiful day as Big Bird and Julia enjoy an outdoor painting party. Nearby, Elmo, Abby, and Rudy engage in a game of superheroes with their special toys. Rudy is fascinated by a dump truck working down the block, but the loud noise upsets Julia. Alan explains that Julia's autism makes her sensitive to loud sounds, prompting Rudy to loudly tell the truck to be quieter. Alan helps Julia calm down, and her special toy, Fluffster, provides comfort.
For their superhero game, Elmo announces it's Baby David's turn to save someone. Rudy believes Fluffster might be the perfect choice, so he takes him from the table, causing Julia to panic. Rudy returns Fluffster, not understanding what he did wrong. Alan explains Fluffster's importance to Julia and how everyone's toys are special to them. The group sings a song about their special toys.
Rudy comes up with a way to include Fluffster in their game by using his "Super Blankey" to protect him from the other toys. Big Bird suggests they all have a toy dance party together, and Rudy makes sure Alan keeps the music quiet so as not to disturb Julia. Everyone says goodbye as they continue their toy dance party.
