Sesame Street Episode 5023 Zoe Breaks Her Arm

Zoe Breaks Her Arm

Zoe is excited to show Alan her impressive ballet jump she's been practicing. As she gets ready to make an even bigger leap, a couple of monkeys carelessly throw their banana peels on the sidewalk in Zoe's path. She slips on her landing and falls, causing her arm to hurt severely. Alan takes her to see a doctor for help.

Zoe and Alan return from the doctor's visit, where they inform Chris that Zoe's arm is broken and needs to be in a cast. The doctor has advised her not to perform any ballet jumps until it heals, leaving Zoe unsure of what to do next. Some kids invite her to play tee-ball and ride scooters, but Zoe imagines she needs both hands for these activities. Feeling upset, Zoe's friends offer her a one-handed activity – singing!

Charlie, Elmo, and Rosita invite Zoe to join them at the garden to sing "If You're Happy and You Know It." Zoe realizes she can't sing along, as the lyrics require clapping, which she can't do with her cast. Her friends calm her down and suggest changing the lyrics to something Zoe can do, like giving a high five. Charlie demonstrates another thing she can do – whistle, which impresses all the monsters. They go to Alan to show off their "skills," and he sings them another one-handed activity – shouting "wahoo!" He treats them all to some smoothies afterward.

Elmo, Zoe, and Rosita continue singing "If You're Happy and You Know It," when Oscar proposes they change the song so that they can all scram.
